George F. Donnelly


Starting with five years as president of the National Soccer League of New York from 1966 to 1971, Donnelly gave over 23 years to soccer administration.

He was president of the Eastern New York Senior Soccer Association from 1972 to 1977 and in 1977 founded the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association. He began his first chairmanship of a USSF committee in 1978 with the appeals committee, a position he held for nine years. From 1982 to 1985 he was president of the Cosmopolitan Soccer League and in 1985 managed the Brooklyn College soccer team, winners of the gold medal in the All Nepal Football Cup. He was a member of the U.S. National Team Delegation to the 1988 Olympic Games in South Korea.
